Welcome to a unique ministry to Holocaust Survivors in Israel! Approximately 300,000 Survivors are still living in the Holy Land, but their time is swiftly running out.

“A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. He sets the lonely in families, He brings forth the prisoners with singing… “ (Psalms 68:5 & 6)

This verse was the true beginning of our outreach to these lonely and traumatized people. At the Lord’s direction we began to demonstrate His love through visits, hugs and friendship and by establishing an adoption/sponsorship program to the Holocaust Survivors. Most of them are immigrants from Russia and the Ukraine. Believers throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and other countries, are adopting these Survivors, sending holiday and birthday cards and gifts. But most importantly, they are praying for their Survivor.

Desert Hope International is all about bringing hope to the Holocaust Survivors who have immigrated to Israel. This includes not only registered Holocaust Survivors but also those who survived atrocities such as the Leningrad Siege and elderly Jewish immigrants. These peoples have once again become victims – this time succumbing to the ravages of a depressed economy. The majority of them are living in poverty. Not just a vacuum of finances, but a depression filled with loneliness, ill health and spiritual abandonment. Our ministry has several aspects of outreaches, but all with one purpose: To take the Love, Compassion and Kindness of Jesus to each one.

We are not interested in building a name for ourselves. We are, however, interested in involving Believers worldwide to reach out to His brethren, in the name of Y’shua. Come join us in following God’s commandment of Genesis 12:3. Let’s “bless Israel” together!
