King’s Men Chess Club

Eddie and Lura Beckford are citizens of Israel, living in the town of Arad, located in the Negev Desert. Several years ago they opened a chess club in response to the lack of places to play this gentleman’s game. They also found a need for Christian literature in their town.

King’s Men Chess Club was the result of that recognized need. It is located in the old market section of the city, providing chess and dominoes for whomever would like to come play. The majority of their clientele are Jewish Russian immigrants. In addition, Christian books and Bibles of various languages are offered free of charge within their facility.
