We are offering a unique opportunity for all our Guests and Volunteers.  When you come to stay at Beit Shalom, if you desire, you have the option to give your time and compassion in service to the people of the Land of Israel.

In northern Israel there are a number of ministries seeking to offer humanitarian aid to those in need.  Our desire is for each of you who want to visit Israel to have the opportunity to also bless Israel by offering hands-on assistance.

We are currently in the process of identifying which ministries accept volunteers and what your role would be.  Available right now are:

Beit Shalom Hospitality & Guest House

• Guest Hosts & Hostesses to manage the House – six week to three month stay
• Volunteers to help with renovations to the House
• Prayer intercessors to pray over the city on the Akko tel

Desert Hope International 

• Visit with Holocaust Survivors in their home
• Bring donated items for distribution *

Katzir Asher (Harvest of Asher) – Messianic Congregation of Akko

• prayer intercessors to pray on the ancient walls and prayer-walk the city
• Humanitarian Aid distribution

Tents of Mercy – Messianic Congregation near Haifa

• Humanitarian Aid distribution

Akko Arab Baptist Church

• Humanitarian Aid distribution
• Outreach to the Poor
• Help run the bookshop
