Desert
Hope International has established a General Holocaust
Survivor Fund which is used to assist with economic
and physical needs of the Holocaust Survivors
in Israel. Funds for this purpose are not diverted
to any other part of our outreach.
We have committed 100% of the funds sent for the
Holocaust Survivors will be used for the Holocaust
Survivors. This part of our outreach depends solely
on the amount of funds in this account. These
monies are used in the following manner for the
Holocaust Survivors:
- To
purchase gift cards for the grocery store or
pharmacy
- To
provide birthday gifts
- To
give all our Holocaust Survivors a gift on Jewish
holidays such as Purim and Hanukah
- To
provide transportation to visit relatives in
nursing homes or hospitals
- To
arrange special trips for those Survivors who
are capable of travel
